The biggest gospel concert in Nigeria, The Experience 2014 might have come and gone but the memory still lingers.
It was an awesome event as gospel music lovers converge to worship and praise God in different way on Friday, 5th of December. However, the musical show continued on Sunday and it was tagged ‘Experience Overflow’ and it took place at the House on the rock. Surprisingly, American gospel singers, Donnie Mcclurkin and Mich Stampley learnt the Azonto and shoki dance at the ‘Experience overflow’ which was meant to cap the the ‘Experience’ worship session that held all night at the Tafawa Balewa square.

This year’s ‘The Experience’ event boasts about 600,000 people. The event was opened with a performance from the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Community Choir alongside Sammie Okposo. Thereafter came ministrations from Freke Umoh, Onos Ariyo and Midnight Crew.
There were also special prayers for Nigeria as a whole and each of the states, this was led by several Christian leaders such as Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church, Rev Sam Adeyemi of the Daystar Christian Centre, Bishops Mike and Peace Okonkwo of the TREM church, among others intermittently.
