Prosecutor Chidi Okoye Of the Magistrate Court in Lagos, Nigeria had his traditional wedding recently in the East, date of the white wedding is yet to be announced. Chidi Okoye is one of the few Nigerian Law Enforcement Agents who has made us proud, he is also the author of the most talked about novel, "THE INVESTIGATOR".
While on a leave of absence, Detective Inspector Sketch Dikko receives an unexpected, and rather urgent, phone call from his boss: “I need you down at the division, at once. There’s been a murder…”
As Inspector Crime, Dikko investigates the murder and submits his findings to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), at Panti, Lagos.
The murder case appears to be an open-and-shut one as the murder suspect – a twisted and cold-blooded killer – confesses to the crime. But there’s more to this case than meets the eye.
Resolved alongside the murder case are a few other intriguing cases – armed robbery, car theft, assault and battery, and kidnapping.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Chidi Okoye is from Anambra State. He is the son of late Benneth Okoye, a.k.a. Ben Lion Heart, West African Heavy Weight Champion. He read Quantity Surveying at the prominent Yaba College of Technology. From there he proceeded to the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano; and later joined the Nigeria Police Force, as a Cadet Inspector, after undergoing and successfully completing the required training, and passing the relevant examinations.
He is presently an Assistant Superintendent of Police, and also a prosecutor of criminal issues in a Chief Magistrates’ court In Lagos, Nigeria. He published the novel "The Investigator" May 7, 2014 and his currently working on his next novel.
